We love going out. Last night we arrived in this superb place which we didn't know before. We spent a delightful experience there with delicious meal and an experienced stuff and a great chef. We put this place in our phone list and we shall definitely come back very soon. We highly recommend.

I loved this place! I love all the playbills on the wall and different history. I also I must say there light fixtures on the ceiling are so awesome and beautiful. Food and drinks were great! Potato Soup is to die for. Also had the apple cider old fashion I so recommended any old fashion lover to go try this! Bangers and mash for dinner another hit with me. Had the peanut butter bomb for dessert. Good but so rich couldn't even eat it all of it between two people. Server could have been move attentive but it was busy and she was very pleasant. Definitely would go back.

Two words: Jazz Tuesday! "Mort's" has featured a lot of great local music for a long time. But, their ongoing weekly support of the mid-Michigan Jazz scene is unparalleled in this area in my over 32 years of living here. This alone makes Moriarty's worthy of our patronage, though they offer so much more. For me Mort's is like Lansing's answer to Cheers. It's a place you can go where everyone knows your name, or wants to.

Their Tuesday night jazz event is excellent no cover charge great music great crowd good food and drinks my only complaint would be had to park a little ways away and walk in if you want to avoid this get there early the band starts at seven I recommend getting there at six and having dinner in a couple drinks

Hands down, the best onion rings in the nation. I also enjoy the homemade soup, with loaded baked potato being my favorite. The meatloaf is good, too. I love the music, especially Frog and Griff. Joe is a very professional and knowledgeable barkeep; he always suggests new beers I might like. I met my significant other at Mort's over a year ago, and we continue to go there weekly. There are always friendly faces and the ambience is homey and comfortable, with it also being very clean in the restrooms and a well-run establishment.

Love this place. Excellent live jazz (maybe the only in the area; no cover either!), great service, and good bike parking! The soup selection and quality is killer.

Tuesday night jazz is the best. Just get there early if you want to sit at a table. Gumbo soup was great and the wings were huge and yummy!!!

My boyfriend and I were referred to this bar on a Monday night and the bartender was great. My kind of place. Good drinks, friendly people, and a local hometown atmosphere!

Mort's is one of my favorite places. They have great food and beer in a very relaxed, unassuming atmosphere. Perfect place to take in some local music.

This place is a friendly & affordable pub with a strong menu anchored wonderfully by an assortment of house-made soups. Also a lot of dart playing area if you're into that...

Just got to the Moriarty's new ownership party. Looks like we are in for a hell of a party. Love the drink specials and free food. Let's do this!
